TRANSCRIPT: Sen. Ben Cardin

SCENE: Sen. Cardin exits an underground tram and heads to the US Capitol when Ask a Pol’s Matt Laslo catches him and inquires about evolving US cannabis policy.

Matt Laslo: “Do you have any thoughts on the DEA moving to reschedule marijuana?”

Ben Cardin: “Oh, you know, I have to give that a little bit of thought.”

ML: “Yeah?”

BC: “I better talk to some of my friends of the younger generation.”

Laslo laughs.

ML: “Yes, sir. Have a good one.”

BC: “Alright.”

ML: “Good to see ya.”
