LISTEN: Laslo & Pressley
Ask a Pol asks:
What do you see as the path forward over here? Y'all might be going through another Speaker battle and it feels like we're running out of time ahead of the election.
Key Pressley :
“I don't know. Seems like the path is just chaos and more chaos. And so, it’s very frustrating, because I want to do the work of advancing progress and I feel like most days all I can really do is just try to mitigate harm. It's just harm reduction at this point,” Rep. Ayanna Pressley exclusively tells Ask a Pol.

TRANSCRIPT: Rep. Ayanna Pressley
SCENE: Rep. Pressley and others just finished their 420 press conference with cannabis advocates in front of the US Capitol, and we got a quick question in as she got in a car to leave.
Ayanna Pressley: “Hey, how you doing?”
Laslo doesn’t hear that, because her staff was motioning that she was in a hurry and couldn’t stop to take questions.
Matt Laslo: “What do you see as the path forward over here? I mean, y'all might be going through another Speaker battle. Feels like we're running out of time [ahead of the election].”
AP: “I don't know. Seems like the path is just chaos and more chaos. And so, it’s very frustrating, because I want to do the work of advancing progress and I feel like most days all I can really do is just try to mitigate harm. It's just harm reduction at this point.”
ML: “Knowing this is bipartisan…”
AP: “I’m sorry, I have to get to the floor.”
ML: “You gotta run? Have a good one.”
